About

Kendall Chapman is a guitarist based in Los Angeles, California. She discovered her passion for music at an early age and began playing guitar in 2014 when she was 7 years old.

She is a founding member and lead guitarist of the progressive art-rock band PENÜMBRA, where her guitar work can be heard on their 2025 single “Broom.” In 2025, Chapman began hosting DIY music events with PENÜMBRA, aiming to create a fun, music-centered environment that supports local artists and provides a space for musicians to share their craft.

Since 2023, Chapman has also performed as a guitarist for alternative pop-rock artist Daire McLeod, playing live with her band Daire and the Monarchs. Together, they’ve performed at major events and venues including the 2024 Citadel Outlets Tree Lighting (with over 3,000 in attendance), New York Fashion Week, The Knitting Factory North Hollywood, and several other Los Angeles venues.

Chapman is currently studying Music Entrepreneurship and Jazz Guitar at Pasadena City College.
